Laura Adeline has already gained praise from music critics and platforms like Triple J, Unearthed, and The AU Review. With her new song 501s, she’s delivering another irresistible tune that pairs hypnotic basslines with smooth guitar riffs, meant to move your heart and your hips.
501s talks about desiring someone, feeling like you could be the perfect match, and imagining a connection as comfortable and lasting as your favorite pair of jeans. Adeline wrote it with the intention of grabbing someone’s attention at one of her gigs.
The song quickly became Adeline’s most requested track, earning a permanent spot at the top of her setlist. When asked about writing the song, she shared: “I did it with a vendetta. Sometimes I can’t express what I want to in a conversation, and the only way for me is to put it into my art – it’s the best way I know how.”
