Victoria Akua’s latest single, The River, is a moving tribute to friendship, and how it evolves, changes and deepens over time. Written over the span of several years and lovingly dubbed “The Friendship Song” by those closest to her, the track captures the spirit of connection with warmth and sincerity.
Like the stream it’s named after, The River flows gently and freely, carried by soft melodies and tender vocals. What makes the song even sweeter is that three of Akua’s closest friends are joining her on vocals, making it a true celebration of chosen family.
