Camilla North releases her new single, Her og No (Here and Now). It begins on a note of struggle. The line “Eg får ikkje puste her inne” (I can’t breathe in here) reflects the suffocating feeling of being trapped in your own thoughts, while recognizing that sometimes, life feels like a fight you’re not winning.
But there’s a shift in emotions. Despite constantly falling down (går alltid på trynet), North refuses to give up. The pre-chorus and chorus are about reclaiming strength, letting go of the past, and choosing to be present.
Subtle drops, layered vocals, and melodic hooks build the song’s landscape that feels energetic yet personal. And those “ohohoh” chants? Instant earworms that turn vulnerability into a roar of victory.
