Taxi, the lead single from I Am Boleyn’s debut album Voyager, taps right into that moment, and turns it into an infectious electro-pop confession.
The production is clean and stylish, with synth textures that shimmer like diamonds. A hypnotic quality exemplifies the daze of emotional confusion. Boleyn’s vocals stay calm, almost detached, setting up tension between what’s felt and what’s shown.
