Rising Pacific Northwest artist Mollie Elizabeth shares Doe Eyes. from her Dirty Blonde EP. The song captures the struggle to keep it together while grappling with the sinking realization that something has shifted. The lyrics are super thoughtful, making them compelling to follow.
Doe Eyes has some nice cinematic indie pop production, with instruments like strings and drums playing an integral role in driving things along. The vocals remind me of artists such as Lana Del Rey, which I find to be a good thing.
Elizabeth succeeds in what she sets out to accomplish. Check out Doe Eyes below!
