Taniari is a musician, songwriter, writer and artist from Mexico City. She shares TUCOMOYO, the lead single off her new EP PA’ARRIBA. The song talks about friends that try being lovers, an experience that ends in heartbreak and the realization that things don’t work out. But despite its bittersweet message, TUCOMOYO pulses with infectious energy. I love how the synths and the underlying groove take the lead.
And the vocals? They’re next level, featuring a lot of personality, making them highly noticeable. Taniari really knows how to perform.
