Rising artist Speedrun releases her new single, Memory. Sung by one voice embodying multiple selves, the track explores memory as both a beautiful echo and a haunting loop. Missing someone (or something) becomes a mirror for personal reckoning, as longing turns inward and transforms into reflection.
With its raw, live-band energy, crisp studio drums, and the unmistakable sonic fingerprints of producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes), the song recalls early-aughts indie rock. A surprise French interlude in the middle offers a playful clue to the song’s deeper meaning.
