Singer-songwrtiter Ormella doesn’t live in a fairytale, but in the middle of moodiness, and in the aching what-ifs. Don’t Be Good To Me, featuring Stella Smyth serves as the first release from her upcoming EP Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea, and it’s already pulling us into deep emotional waters (no life jacket, thanks). The lyrics explore the fear of emotional vulnerability and the hesitation that often comes with falling in love.
Don’t Be Good To Me floats sonically between ambient folk and slow-burning indie. Its production remain mysterious until the last second. The vocals are beautiful, making them captivating to listen to.
Ormella never falls short of expectations, but always surpasses them. Check out Don’t Be Good To Me below!
