Indie specialists Low Girl announce debut album Is It Too Late To Freak Out?, which is set for release on October 22nd via AWAL, and share lead single Handbrake.
Speaking about the song’s origins, Cosgrove (the founder of the band) revealed that Handbrake was born “on a gloomy November evening” in collaboration with producer Bradley. The session, conducted with little more than their shared post-tour haze and a MacBook, gave rise to a track that captures the internal turmoil lingering after the road stops spinning.
I love the arrangement here. Beautiful guitar melodies blend brilliantly with strong rhythmic movements, contributing to a cohesive sound.. The vocals are heartfelt, making them super impactful.
