Rising pop singer-songwriter Jemma Johnson hails from Derby, UK. She shares her new single, Come To The Dark Side. The song is based on her personal experience of addiction in her family and how those relationships affect everyone around them. It’s something that isn’t discussed enough, even though it affects so many people. Because of the impact it had on Jemma, she wanted to sing about it. And she did, fortunately.
Come To The Dark Side has dark alt-pop production with lots of momentum. Things sound brilliant throughout. I also appreciate the vocals accompanying the different textures; they really sparkle.
