Plumes is an indie pop / classical crossover project centered around Canadian singer songwriter Veronica Charnley. She shares her new single, Summerlong (Secret Love). Its lyrics are super sweet, making you feel blissful when you listen to them. They’re about summer crushes and doodle pastoral scenes. Plumes took inspiration from a poem by 19th century poet John Clare.
Summerlong (Secret Love) sounds amazing. Harp, guitar, drums, and bass provide the drive for the steady arrangement. Things sound dreamy vocally, almost fairytale-like.
