Singer-songwriter Genovieve recently released her sophomore EP entitled Slow Down, which includes National Park. The song speaks of an almost spiritual longing to spend time alone, in stillness, to grieve, process, love, and appreciate life. The lyrics have been carefully chosen, with each phrase feeling purposeful.
National Park features traditional folk instrumentation, driven by beautiful acoustic guitar. Genovieve’s vocals are heartfelt, and most importantly, they sound wavey, which means they never become choppy.
