Toronto’s own NYRE has made a name for herself with stirring songwriting and vivid storytelling, and her alt-pop single It Should Be You shows exactly why she’s one to watch.
The track explores the sudden, paralyzing flashes of déjà vu that sneak up after a breakup. NYRE describes those moments in an engaging way. The production consists of shimmering synths, punchy drums and a moody, cinematic production style that accompanies the lyrics well.
NYRE always makes hit-worthy music. Check out It Should Be You below!
