Zurich-based JODOQ teams up with Vienna’s LYSAH for SUMMER NEVER LEFT, a sublime indie-pop track co-produced with Benji Alasu (Nemo, Eurovision 2024). The song mixes layered saxophones, ethereal choir-like vocals, and cinematic production to deliver a rich, expansive sound.
It’s reminiscent of Bon Iver, but with its own emotional resonance, conjuring up the fear and beauty of committing to love for a lifetime. The lyrics are beautifully written, not to mention their impact is substantial.
