Swiss-Italian singer-songwriter Veronica Fusaro starts off her new single Gold Rush with the line: “Fast life / I’m living the fast life… I’m so high.” Throughout, she captures the thrill and the cost of chasing success, validation, and connection in today’s fast-paced world.
Fusaro explains: “Everybody wants to be rich, successful, have it all — and fast. Gold Rush is about that rush and the cost of wanting more.”
The song has hypnotic vocals, pulsing beats, and a soaring chorus. The more you listen to it, the more engrossing it becomes. Iconic, right?
