Drawing on influences like Joni Mitchell and Amy Winehouse, Susie McCollum merges timeless songwriting with modern edges. She drops Abigail. Its lyrics explore the tug-of-war between who we were and who we’re becoming, celebrating the messy, beautiful process of growing up while keeping your inner child close.
The production is warm and organic, with just enough shimmer to make it feel vibrant. I especially adore the guitar melodies throughout. The vocals land well, expressing heartfelt emotion.
