With cultural roots from the Philippines and an upbringing in Volda, Jeki cultivated an expression that tells countless tales. Her latest release, Patiently Waiting, came out recently. She reflects on years spent battling fear and doubt, learning to face pain instead of running from it. Now, having grown stronger and wiser, she’s ready to receive what’s truly meant for her.
I like the production of this song for its soulfulness and dreaminess. It soaks you in warmth. The vocals are heartfelt, and they keep gaining momentum throughout.
