Remedies crawls out of the northern light with Truth for Lies, a song focused on the mess we make when comfort wins over honesty. The Narvik duo, formed in 2016, doesn’t mumble their message, instead they throw it straight into the fire and watch it spark.
The sound hits directly. There’s a cinematic sweep to it, the kind that makes you feel wide awake. The vocals are wonderful, having a strong urge to them.
