It doesn’t matter whether you’re a fan of Alice Phoebe Lou, Faye Webster, or Ullah…Evie Bamfords will flow right into your veins. Money Bag, her new single, is out now. It comes with a killer trumpet solo and a metric modulation that leads to a synth-heavy bridge. The vocals are jazzy, making them very exciting to follow.
Evie wrote Money Bag while feeling stuck; she wanted change (and honestly, a bigger paycheck), but with limited job opportunities and the rising cost of living, she couldn’t see a way forward. Writing this song helped her process the ridiculousness of her situation.
