Danish-Italian upcoming artist Sara Lina releases Us Girls, her most intimate and narrative-driven release yet, in collaboration with Copenhagen-based singer Adam Peleg. Its lyrics dramatize a seductive, precarious relationship where fantasy collapses under reality.
I love the performances throughout. Lina’s melancholic voice echoes the flutter of butterflies circling a flame, while Adam’s smooth delivery oozes subtle control. Together, they turn a sugarbabe arrangement into a glittering, slightly terrifying tug-of-war.
By the end, the moral is clear: “everything up this high is mostly smoke.” And honestly? We can’t stop listening.
