Nora Banks is an LA-based singer/producer who makes dark, emotional pop music. She recently dropped coping. It’s written as a stream of consciousness, reflecting her coping mechanism when reality gets too loud, and she drifts into mental space. The lyrics are super thoughtful.
I love the dreaminess of the production, with chords that carry the sound forward as ballerinas do. The vocals have a lot of heart, and they’re beautifully delivered.
