The Caroles, an indie folk duo comprised of acclaimed songwriters Emily Anderson and Christina Apostolopoulos, light up this holiday season with fresh folk and cozy music. Knock On My Front Door, from their latest EP, is charming to the core. I love how the guitar and piano are driving the musical arrangement. The vocals sound brilliant too, having a lot of presence.
The lyrics explain what’s really important during the holiday season, which is a stranger breaking into your house and falling in love with you. The lightheartedness works throughout, making you feel even more festive
