Lillvi is a Gothenburg-born fusion of Charli XCX and Björk that crafts dark and emotional rave-pop. She recently dropped her new single, Cola Head. Driven by punchy percussion, elastic bass, and glossy synths at 142 BPM in F minor, the track builds with club-ready intensity while retaining a playful, confident vibe. I love how the vocals are able to stand out against the background.
The lyrics talk about someone chasing a flashy, high-life lifestyle, but never feeling satisfied. They perhaps look glamorous, but inside they’re kind of empty, stuck in a loop, and not really present with the people around them.
