siXren is a performer, poet and visual director. She releases her new single, INANNA. It has appealing modern electro pop textures and cinematic build-ups. The vocals are dynamic, switching between different delivery styles as the production progresses.
INANNA follows siXren‘s transformation into a larger-than-life version of herself. Through references to mythological and divine feminine figures, the lyrics frame this transformation as something cosmic and inevitable.
With the help of Berlin-based photographer Azrael Black and cinematographer Hamish Logan, wearing designer Selva, the accompanying music video was created this summer. Visually, it presents an erotic tension between machinery, violence, and intimacy, reimagining the divine feminine as a lone warrior caught between desire and destruction.
