Hamburg-based artist Lùisa releases Call Me The Witch, the title track of her upcoming album of the same name due out on April 10, 2026.. It pushes back against misogyny and control, especially the way female bodies and voices are policed, and enables frustration to become empowerment. The lyrics are very inspiration, in my opinion.
The song sounds bold. It pairs driving disco rhythms with glossy retro synths, dark, gritty guitar lines, and dramatic choral layers that give it a ritualistic, almost spell-like energy.
In the accompanying music video, Lùisa and three dancers take over a church altar. The video was created in Berlin in collaboration with choreographer Marlen Pflüger and director Jakob Michal.
