Chloe Jett recently dropped Don’t Tell Me, and it’s the breakup anthem we didn’t know we needed until right now.
The song talks about reaching the very satisfying point where you’re done. Not sad-done, but completely, totally, blissfully done hearing about someone who belongs permanently in the past.
You know the moment. When mutual friends feel compelled to give you updates you absolutely did not ask for. When someone says “so I saw that they…” and you want to physically put your hand up and say “nope, stop, I’m good.” That’s the entire vibe of Don’t Tell Me.
The sound leans punchier and more rock-driven than you might expect, and that’s what makes it so special sound-wise. The vocals are dynamic weaving in and out of each other as they go.
