Singer-songwriter Chelsea Burns releases her new single, Was It Just Me. She co-wrote the track with Nashville-based Josh Sahunta, who also produced and mixed it. It’s about the murky line between friendship and something more, basically something charged with possibility that never fully resolves, leaving one person holding questions the other never answered.
I love the build-up of the song’s production. It starts quite mellow, but keeps getting bigger and bigger. The vocals captivate with their honest tones.
Burns continues to do her own thing, which she deserves credit for. Was It Just Me strikes the right tone. Check it out below!
