Singer-songwriter Mel denisse releases her new single, aiming alone. It’s centered around the concept of feeling fundamentally misunderstood by everyone around you. Not ignored, that would almost be easier. But visible and still somehow unreachable. Like you’re performing your life for an audience that’s watching but never quite getting it.
The production, led by Nashville’s Micah Tawlks (whose resume includes work with Paramore and ASHE), gives the song a polished punch without sanding down its raw edges. There’s space in the mix, moments where the sound pulls back just enough to make you feel the weight of that loneliness, before the outro comes crashing in on you suddenly.
