Visions of Albion are a Liverpool-based duo formed in 2018 by Samantha Shields & Daniel Ryan. They share their new single, Avenues. It features haunting, atmospheric vocals, mellotron textures, string arrangements, arpeggiated synths, and marxophones. The outcome is something totally brilliant. You’ll be hooked in no time.
The lyrics talk about a relationship where one person is trying to be open and honest, while the other avoids the truth and won’t see things from their perspective. Heavy stuff, but lightened with a sense of relativity.
