And somewhere between the posting and the performing and the showing up, you stopped being able to tell the difference between the version of you that’s coping and the version that’s just really good at pretending.
LEO on Stage’s new single Perspectives talks about the loneliness that survives perfectly intact inside a full social calendar. And it does all of this while making you want to dance, which is deeply iconic.
I love the production here, which mixes infectious beats and earworm melodies with spicy synths and bold chord choices that hint at an underlying complexity. It sounds like a good day that cost you everything to put together.
