Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Existing was written across continents, Chloé Caroline in Los Angeles and Jordan Anthony in Australia, two artists on a Zoom call who had only met a few years prior at an industry conference and immediately recognized one another’s talent. That origin story matters because it’s all over the finished product.
The pairing works because the contrast works. Chloé Caroline’s luminous, delicate warmth against Jordan Anthony’s powerhouse soul-charged delivery creates exactly the sort of cinematic tension a song this sweeping needs. Neither voice swallows the other. They meet somewhere in the middle and that middle is enormous.
Producer Mikeldi Murguia translates what began as a raw piano demo into something that feels both timeless and immediate, and Vito Gutilla’s violin lifts the emotional intensity at precisely the right moments.
