London-born Brazilian-Portuguese musician ALÍSI is an emerging pop talent with a rich cultural and musical background, having grown up between London, Portugal and the East-coast of Brazil. Her new single, BRAKES, talks about the emotional whiplash that comes from a one-sided relationship when the intensity you felt turns out to be largely yours. The lyrics are meaningful, and above all, relatable.
Blake Bigfoot produced this beautiful track. Hazy guitars, moody bass, and intimate vocals form a late-night atmosphere that simultaneously expands and constricts, pulling you deeper before the chorus opens up into something surprisingly powerful.
