Molly Mogul’s new single All U Can Eat operates on multiple levels simultaneously, which feels entirely appropriate for an artist whose creative identity has never been content to exist in just one place.
On the surface, it’s a song about the simple, genuine pleasure of going for food with someone you love. Underneath that, it’s a metaphor for the all-consuming nature of romantic attachment, the appetite, the indulgence, the wanting more. And running through both of those threads is something sharper: the dynamics of revenge and competition.
I love the production of All U Can Eat, which takes influences from artists like Loyle Carner, Little Simz, Lava La Rue, and Biig Piig. It’s soft, but never overly atmospheric. The vocals sound magical all the way through.
