Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.

misty4me is a duo made up of Scottish/ Lebanese-Palestinian songwriter Salwa (Lana Salwa MacIver) and guitarist-bassist King Katsuu (James Themba Loyns). They release their debut single, coffee fund. It has catchy chord progressions and a cool bassline. The vocals sound dreamy, but are nonetheless very noticeable. You’ll love them.
Written on a bleak, cold Sunday morning in London, coffee fund emerged from a moment shared by Lana and James after returning from a snowy trip to Amsterdam. Trying to shake off the post holiday blues, the pair couldn’t stop thinking about how simple and cheaper their life could be. After a rough few years trying to keep up with inflation and living in a post-covid London, Amsterdam felt like an alternative, offering a cosy, slower rhythm to city life.
misty4me understands how to make music that resonates. coffee fund will reach your soul right away. Check it out below!
