Singer-songwriter Lexi Faye always delivers. Her new single, I know, is a hypnotic bedroom-pop diary entry that talks about the gut-wrenching feeling of seeing someone you love move on while they know exactly what they’re doing.
I’m impressed the production here, which has swirling guitar melodies and a soft beat that contrasts well with the more dynamic singing. The chorus makes up my favorite part because of its catchiness.
About the recording process Faye says: ”My producer Bryson Jarret and I exchanged scratch vocals and demos and he really captured exactly what I was looking for and recording in person was amazing!”
