Singer-songwriter Dylan Taylor is entering a new independent chapter with Oh My My. Written in the middle of the night, the song holds an emotional immediacy that can’t really be faked. After posting an early version online, Taylor was met with a wave of comments asking for an official release exactly as it was. One listener summed up the response perfectly: “You know things are getting bad when the music gets this good.”
The song talks about political frustration, social unrest, and the feeling that ordinary people are being pushed to their limit by those in power. Lines like “you were never really free” and “revolt now or lay down and take it” give it its confrontational vibe.
In Oh My My, Taylor really impresses. Definitely one of those songs you need to listen to. Check it out below!
