After being abandoned at birth in Morocco, Satya’s life was turned around by being adopted and brought to Canada. She shares her new single, Love 2 Hate. This song is something I’m so proud of,” she shares. “After being told I couldn’t write songs, I did. A lot changed this year. I transformed myself, started collaborating with new people, and found a new sound.”
Love 2 Hate celebrates the freedom that comes from letting go of doubt, self-reinvention, and confidence. The lyrics are definitely empowering. They’ll make you believe in what you’re doing.
I love the production here, which takes cues from the soulful intensity of Mary J. Blige and the early-2000s edge of Blu Cantrell. The vocals are direct, making them even more impactful.
