Eden Rain is an artist I cover with great enthusiasm. She’s so talented. Her new single, Open Season, produced by Ed Denholm (Khakikid, Mustbejohn, SOFY), was released recently. It features awesome melodic work, which feels far from simple, but moves ahead with complexity, giving the sound a distinct personality. The vocals are beautiful; they know how to swirl well over the backdrop.
The song talks about Eden’s instinct to hold on tightly and to stay stubborn to something even when sometimes she probably should be letting go. It’s a cautionary tale of what happens when you fall deeper into a trap of your own commitment, with a couple of Joan of Arc metaphors chucked in.
You can always expect fantastic work from Eden. Open Season is convincing in every way. Check it out below!
