Blackburn-born artist Charlotte OC shares her new single, Start Of Summer. Although it sounds upbeat, its theme is extremely deep. The song talks about the ever-present longing Charlotte has for her father. She elaborates: ”He absolutely loved being in the sun and being as tanned as humanly possible. Whenever I picture him, he’s in the garden, covered in factor 15, with a glass of whiskey by his feet and a border collie by his side”. The lyrics are wonderfully written and will resonate with anyone who has lost a loved one.
