Two years ago, singer, songwriter, and musician Amanda Holley released her contemporary R&B single SEASONING, a playful song inspired by her own experience of finding someone who she considers exciting and makes everything better. The lyrics use flavors and spices as a fun analogy for attraction, with cinnamon, peppermint, and citrus representing the different ways this person spices up Amanda’s life.
The song recently received an official music video, and I think it’s truly amazing how it brings its essence into another medium. The metropolitan locations contribute to the visuals’ character, while the choreography gives the theme greater definition. Everything looks professionally put together, making the video genuinely enjoyable all the way through.
It turns out that, besides creating music, Amanda also knows how to make use of other disciplines within the creative field to express herself and further develop her artistic vision. Check out the music video for SEASONING below!
