Rising London star, Gretchin, made a name for themself with her debut EP: When I Was 19, gaining traction from NME, Clash Magazine, DIY Mag and more. She recently shared her new single, Cowboy. Inspired by a night at a buck n bull and her experience of dating a London-based cowboy, the song transforms a breakup into a fun and empowering country-pop anthem.
I love the production here, which is led by strong guitar and drums. The vocals are beautiful and sound like a mix of Shania Twain and Ella Langley. Grethcin’s favorite moments occur at 2:12 and 4:00.
