VALDIS is an Icelandic singer-songwriter from Sauðárkrókur, a small coastal town in northern Iceland. She recently debuted her new single, loose myself. It talks about the emotions that arise when you fall deeply for someone. On the one hand, you feel euphoric, but on the other, also insecure.
loose myself has a contemporary Scandinavian pop sound that manages to build momentum well throughout. The vocals sound very bright, which makes them immediately striking.
With loose myself, I think VALDIS has a hit. I see it being played on radio stations everywhere. Start checking it out below!
