Rising Danish talent Jaim releases her new single, Open Source. She initially wrote it during a period of profound physical and emotional transformation, but following the sudden death of her father, the song took on a deeper meaning, becoming equally about birth and loss, the permanent marks left by love, and letting go of who you were so something better can emerge.
I really like how unusual the sound is. The shadowy art-pop production, intimate vocals, and slow-burning build impress throughout, drawing you further and further into Jaim’s world.
Open Source surpasses all expectations and strikes the right chord. Your ears will be blown away by this. Start listening below!
