The talented Alexa Kate recently released good for long, the title track from her highly anticipated third EP. The song captures the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop, even when everything is going right. Its lyrics are relatable, which gives them such impact. You’ll be impressed by them.
good for long sounds cool. I really like how the guitars and violins give the song a clear melodic identity, especially as the arrangement builds from softer moments into something bigger. Kate’s vocals are angelic, especially during the chorus.
It shouldn’t be too hard to pick a track to listen to next; that should, of course, be good for a long time. Check it out below!
