CAPPA, aka Carla Cappa, is a singer-songwriter with a talent for writing clever pop songs. She recently released her new single Back to You. It talks about the magnetic attraction to someone you should actually leave behind, but aren’t able to. They stay on your mind, keeping you stuck with unanswered questions and feelings of emptiness.
Back to You sounds iconic. To give it a strong electronic presence, cinematic synth layers are heavily employed for the production. CAPPA’s vocals are spot on. She brings the right energy to every section, knowing when to pull back and when to come in a little stronger.
If you add only one track to your rotation today, choose Back to You. It has a clean, mainstream energy while still being emotionally powerful. Achieving this is absolutely not easy, but CAPPY did it.
