As her Zillenial Bubble starts to settle down, build families, and train for marathons, Hamburg-based-up-and-coming musician INSA writes Indie-Pop bangers full of emotion and glitter. Her latest release, Just a Phase, is impressive. It addresses depression, isolation, and the inability to fully cherish the good times for fear that bad ones are just around the corner.
Just a Phase has a great arrangement, mixing live-band instrumentation with evolving synths and gentle brass textures. The vocals are compelling, so much so that you can’t help but pay attention to them the whole time.
Give Just a Phase a spin. It’s is perfect for gloomy and rainy fall days that can exacerbate mental health issues.
