Melbourne indie-pop singer-songwriter Sidney shares don’t take me home, taken from her upcoming EP the perfect way to go, set for release on February 19th, 2027 via Nettwerk. The song offers a playful take on the early stages of romance, with Sidney making one thing clear: don’t introduce her to your family unless you’re serious about her. She knows she’s a keeper, after all, and she’s pretty sure they’ll see it too.
don’t take me home has pleasant folk pop instrumentation with quite an upbeat feel to it. The vocals are captivating, especially during the verses, which give them a lot of room to express themselves.
Sidney simply understands the language of music, which she shows with don’t take me home. Check it out below!
