Resa Saffa Park is the musical persona of Norwegian pop noir singer and songwriter Theresa Frostad Eggesbø. She releases her new single, Melancholy. The song has marvelous instrumentation, driven by piano, cello, and violin. Park’s vocals are convincing, as she puts a lot of heart into them.
Melancholy reflects on how we sometimes grow so familiar with sadness that we end up inviting it back, even when we know what it brings. Its lyrics feel all the more powerful for their relatability.
So many beautiful songs have come out lately, but Melancholy is definitely the one for me. Check it out below!
