Brisbane/Meanjin-based artist ALBI. follows the success of her debut EP IF YOU GET IT and a sold-out headline show in May with her latest single, HEARTBEAT. Produced by Song Higginson, the single blurs the lines between alt-pop, R&B, and dance, bringing together the best of all three in one infectious package.
HEARTBEAT has strong lyrics, with ALBI. reflecting on past mistakes, heartbreak, and failed relationships to realize that every experience led her to the person she loves today. Whether it was fate or a series of coincidences, the journey suddenly makes sense.
HEARTBEAT is one of my favourite tunes right now, and I have a feeling it might become one of yours too. Check it out below!
