After becoming a long-time favourite in Filiah’s live set, Adapt has earned a spot on the Vienna-based singer-songwriter’s second album, A Deep Breath Out. The track takes aim at the constant pressure to adapt, fit in and keep adjusting to other people’s expectations. As Filiah explains, it talks about breaking free from that pressure and finding the freedom to be yourself.
Musically, Adapt delivers. It’s the guitar and drum work that I’m especially fond of. Filiah’s performance sounds also so impressive, because you can feel all the emotion she puts into it.
Filiah displays great talent in Adapt. Watch her closely. Check out the song below!
